Welcome back to “What interior house paint goes where and why” for interior wall painting. Like my last entry “of what interior house paint goes on ceilings” I’m going to explain what materials (paint) to apply when painting walls. So put your seat belt on, stick your drop sheets down, kick the cat and the dog out of the room and get ready to be injected with good, honest solid information about interior house paint for walls.
Shower pan liners, shower trays, and shower receptors are all used in conjunction with the construction of a shower pan that has a tiled floor as well as a tiled wall enclosure.
Mediums. Prior to painting you can mix your colors with many different mediums, such as gels, linseed oil and varnishes. Now try your hands out on these before you get a head start on your major creative explorations. A collection of Canvas Panels is ideal for employing Acrylic Paints. The Water Color works on porous support and a simple block of paper with Water Color looks worn out. Therefore, high quality water color paper, is good for Water Colors.
For interior work get yourself a decent metal paint tray, a top-quality roller handle (Pros call it a frame), an expandable aluminium pole to fit and good quality sleeves. I can’t emphasize that enough – cheap sleeves (or “covers”) will leave lines and you’ll go mad trying to eliminate them. Get yourself lambswool covers or good-quality synthetic. Before use wash them and roll them Cast acrylic sheets out to get any fluff or fibers off. Cheap covers not only leave lines but also bits of fibers. In fact don’t buy this stuff from the hardware store if you can avoid it – go to a specialist paint supply house or tradesmans store. You might spend hundreds on this gear but it’s going to be worth it.
Being Extruded acrylic sheets natural animal fibres they are also durable and hard-wearing. Probably not what you want for your Flip job though. Although they are easier to clean than regular synthetic fibres, they are more expensive.
If you sell literature or books you can try a slatwall brochure holder. These holders can be made of wire metal or plastic. Another specialty item is the bracket. Slatwall brackets hold shelving and are made strong for all-purpose use. You can even display heavy buckets of paint or heavy pool cleaning liquids.
Line cookie sheets with waxed paper. Melt chocolate chips and shortening in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring often, until just melted and smooth (4 to 6 minutes). Dip half of each heart into the chocolate. Place cookies on lined cookie sheets and refrigerate until chocolate is firm. Store refrigerated in airtight containers, with waxed paper separating layers of cookies.
